The holiday season is in full swing and so are the incredible holiday performances all over the country! We are thrilled to share our city guides with so many opportunities to catch beloved classic holiday tales as well as new stories you will fall in love with.

New York City

New York at Christmas is almost out of a storybook, there’s so much to do, so many things to see and there is definitely no shortage of holiday cheer in the New York City arts scene! Check out our top picks for this holiday season in the area below!

A Christmas Carol is a household story with so many adaptations but Broadway’s current production, a one-man show starring Jefferson Mays is unlike any other production you will see this holiday season! 

New York City is never without a production of The Nutcracker during the holidays, but our must see is The Brooklyn Nutcracker at Kings Theatre in Flatbush. This production shows the diversity and vibrant culture of melting pot Brooklyn, a truly stunning showcase!

If you’re a jazz fan, we’ve got two incredible performances you won’t want to miss this season at two iconic New York City spots! Chris Botti: 18th Annual Holiday Residency performances through December 28th will be at the Blue Note Jazz Club, one of the most famous jazz clubs in the city! Jazz at Lincoln Center will host Big Band Holidays December 14th through December 18th!   

Of course there cannot be a New York City Christmas without the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes! It is so much fun for the whole family with some amazing talent that feels nostalgic with modern touches to the stories!
